Nepali Gangster Kumar Shrestha false name Known as Kumar Ghainte was shot dead in an encounter with police here at Kapurdhara of Samakhusi in Kathmandu on Thursday. As indicated by SSP Sarbendra Khanal, head of Metropolitan City Police Crime Division (MPCD), Ghainte was slaughtered in a crossfire between MPCD inquiry group and his gang. Eight bullets were shot on Ghainte chest amid encounter with Nepal Police. And finally he was shot to death. A Ghainte-leading group had initially started shooting at MPCD group, which was tailing him in connection with his various alleged involvement such as blackmail, extortion and criminal activities.

Kumar Shrestha, otherwise known as Ghainte was firstly captured on 2062 in the conflict with Kumar Malla at Samakhusi. Seven individuals drew in with Ghainte are additionally captured in the occurrence. The police seized an unlawful firearm utilized in the firing.
